Western Australia-2 Varieties of the 1902-12-9 Pence "Swan" Postage Stamp-Illustrated

Illustrated blow are two examples of the Western Australian 9 Penny Swan. The earliest stamp, yellow-orange example on the left was first issued in 1902. Subsequently re-issued in 1906 with a minor colour change to orange (with red-orange shades known). Both examples are postmarked with town cancels of Western Australia. Kalgoorlie a famous gold-mining town.
