Illustrated below is the earliest version of the 2 Shilling and Sixpence George the 5th Sea Horses postage stamp.Printed between June and August of 1913 by Waterlow Bros and Layton it measures exactly 22mm vertically, with horizontal lines only behind the portrait of George the 5th and has the single cipher watermark GvR surmounted by a crown.
