Illustrated below are two varieties of the 2 Pence Halfpenny stamp issued in 1897. Oringinally issued in Rose in 1897 (See Queensland stamps this blog) the stamp was issued in purple and brown-purple on blue paper in 1899. Both the purple and purple-brown are illustrated here.
