Australia-Queensland-The 1882 Six Pence (Green) Postage Stamp-Illustrated
Illustrated below is the 1882 Queensland Six Pence issue postage stamp. Part of a set with values from 1 Penny to 1 Shilling. The Fourpenny (pale yellow) issue of this set can be highly valued for two errors that occured during printing. The value words at base of the oval can read "PENGE" for "PENCE"., or a small area that was left uncoloured between the "E" and the "N" in "PENCE" makes them appear to be joined .
