Shown below are two varieties of the 1 Shilling "Superb Lyrebird" issued in Australia in 1941. The left example is as it was issued, the right as issued to Australian Forces occupying Japan after the Second World War. The stamp issued for Japan was overprinted "BCOF JAPAN" that stood for British Commonwealth Occupying Forces Japan. Two types of overprint were used, (with further variety in the overprints) the example shown here is the type 2 overprint.
