Illustrated below are four of the stamps issued in Spain in 1930. The stamps were issued in honour of Goya the Spanish artist and feature reproductions of some of his etchings called the "Disparates" (Follies) or "Los Proverbios" a series that expressed Goya's increasing disenchantment with humanity. Although Goya died in 1828 the stamps were issued as a centenary issue. The set consisted of 13 values from 5 Cents to 10 Pesetas. The values illustrated here are the two 5 Cents, 10 Cents and 15 Cent values.
This is really a great stamps collection. Thank you for sharing
