Illustrated below are two of the values in the 1904 Cape of Good Hope Edward the 7th definitives,the Halfpenny (green) and 1 Penny (carmine). The set consisted of nine values, Halfpenny (green), 1 Penny (carmine), 2 Penny (brown), 3 Penny (magenta), 4 penny (olive-green), Sixpence (bright mauve), 1 Shilling (yellow-ochre) and 5 Shilling (brown-orange). They are unusual in that the set is only known in used condition.
