Great Britain-George the 5th-2 Colour Varieties of the 9 Pence Defintive-Illustrated


Shown below are the two colour varieties of the George the 5th Definives of 1912. Part of a set with values from a Halfpenny to 1 Shilling the 9 Pence value was added to the set in 1913. In 1922 the design was retained with a colour change from agate to olive-green. Shades are known of pale olive-green.
