Illustrated below is the 2 Penny value from the 1935 Silver Jubilee of King George the 5th.The stamps were issued for all the colonies of the British Empire. The issue for Gibraltar consisted of 2 Pence, 3 Pence, 6 Pence and 1 Shilling values. Many of the issue had plate flaws an "extra flagpole" being one of them. In the upper of the two stamps to the right of the genuine flagpole can be seen a vertical mark that appears to jut from the next battlement of the castle. The mark is absent in the lower of the two stamps. Plate flaws are scarce and can increase the value of stamps. In this case by 4000% and is even scarcer when joined with a normal printing.
