MALTA-1926 Postage Stamp Issue-Some Examples
Illustrated below is a partial set of Malta stamps issued in 1926. Originally issued in 1922 then re-issued in 1926 with the overprint "Postage" at the Govt Printing Office in Valletta. The values ran from 1 farthing (brown) to 10 Shillings (slate-grey and brown) with 13 values in the set. Below are the penny halfpenny (brown-red), twopenny (bistre-brown and turquoise), threepence ( black on yellow) and sixpence (olive-green and violet)
